The venue can accommodate up to 250 guests for a non-seated reception with the use of the back patio. You also have the option to use the empty lot and courtyard, allowing for a larger guest count. You can host much smaller guest counts in the more intimate spaces of The Sloane. Guest counts are dependent upon the spaces you are using and how they are being used. There is also the option to tent the parking lot.

Yes, many of our brides choose to have their ceremony and reception at The Sloane. Our Great Room is a beautiful space for a ceremony with guest counts up to 145. Anything that exceeds that, would need to take place in our Ballroom.
-
If your ceremony takes place in the Great Room, there are pocket doors that can close off this space to be able to separate the ceremony and the reception. Once the ceremony is over, the doors can open and you can reveal your reception to your guests. If your ceremony is taking place in the Ballroom, guests will move to other spaces in The Sloane after the ceremony for cocktail hour, while the Ballroom is flipped into a reception by your vendors.

Tables and chairs are not included in our fee and our reasoning behind this is we want all of our brides to be able to create their wedding exactly how they want. We have close relationships with several rental companies that we can connect you with. We extend our rental discount as well as special rates for delivery/ pickup. We let our clients use who they want at the best price available to them.

Given the historic nature of our building, our parking is somewhat limited. We have a small lot onsite that holds 6-8 cars, we recommend utilizing this for the couple and their immediate family or anyone with impaired mobility. There is free street parking and multiple paid lots surrounding us, subject to availability. The small parking area in the back of The Sloane is intended for your vendors who remain onsite.
We highly recommend hiring a valet company for events who have a guest count of 50 or more to accommodate additional parking needs. description
